The story behind Club 24

Club 24 was founded in Breda by three friends — Ruben, Daan and Isabel — with one goal: to make life easier for men, and to make them look better. No fast fashion, no throwaway collections.

It started with frustration. Ruben couldn’t find the right shirt to wear under a suit; Daan knew the same from years on the road as a DJ — shirts that lost their shape after a few washes. Over drinks in the garden during Covid, one question kept coming back: why don’t we make it ourselves? For the design they turned to Isabel, who Ruben grew up with in Breda. “It was like shaking hands with my brothers,” she said later. She brought the atelier in Portugal.

The first shirts were finished by hand at home and sent to friends. Before long, half of Breda was wearing it. The idea hasn’t changed since: a man shouldn’t have to choose between looking sharp and feeling comfortable. No overthinking. Put it on. Move on.
