What is interlock cotton?
Interlock cotton is a knitted fabric with two interlocking knit structures. Both sides are smooth. It gives a T-shirt a more substantial feel than many lightweight single jersey fabrics. What does that mean when you wear it?

Interlock and single jersey compared
Single jersey has a different structure on the inside and outside. Interlock has a similarly smooth surface on both sides. The structures join during knitting to form one fabric, rather than two separate shirts layered together.
Interlock tends to be more stable and its cut edge curls less. Weight varies between fabrics. “Interlock” describes the knit construction, not a fixed fabric weight.
What does 220 g/m² mean?
The Freedom Fit Tee uses 24-Hour Cotton™, our interlock cotton at approximately 220 grams per square metre. That measures the fabric weight over an area, not the weight of the whole shirt.
Choose the Freedom Fit Tee if you prefer a more substantial T-shirt. If lighter fabric is your priority, explore the Freedom Fit Lite too. It uses lighter cotton and is not interlock.

The fabric is one part. The fit is another.
The Freedom Fit Tee has a regular fit and is made in Portugal. Wear the sleeve down or turn it up for a different look. Your measurements and preference determine the right size. Fabric weight does not choose it for you.

Consider the fabric, seams and fit together. Hold a light colour up to the light and try the shirt on as you intend to wear it. Opacity also depends on colour, knit density and how much the fabric is stretched.
A knit construction alone is no guarantee against pilling, fading or shrinkage. Yarn, finishing, wear and care all matter. Always follow the care label on your shirt.
